Day 2 post surgery

Today I removed the bandages.  I still have steri-strips holding things together and they will stay for another week to 10 days.  I probably did too much today.  I get tired of sitting around doing nothing while I wait to heal, especially when I have things I enjoy doing.  So along with cleaning my kitchen and bathrooms minus the tub, I also worked on a new quilt that I've wanted to get done for a while now.  Ok, so I don't enjoy cleaning, but once the chores were done the quilt was fun to get started on.  However, when Vernon got home I let him finish the dinner I had put in the crockpot this morning and I am resting for the duration of the evening.
